It was pitch dark outside, i took this snap at near midnight with flash firing. I was too close to the drops with a telephoto lens may b that's the reason.

It's dark outside (black) and when flash fires (white) u get a B & W. :)

it was not heavily raining, it was kind of in between : different, and that's what made me get out of bed and click.
