For everything in this world, there is a start point. By the way here it is for me to a new world of light. Thanks to 'Johann Zahn' who seeded for this world long ago in 1685. I am a recreational amateur trying to grasp the concepts behind lenses, Excuse me !!
It was pitch dark outside, i took this snap at near midnight with flash firing. I was too close to the drops with a telephoto lens may b that's the reason.

It's dark outside (black) and when flash fires (white) u get a B & W. :)
looks surreal... interesting shot.. if u had not told it was rain ... kandu pudichirukave mudiyathu... :)

it was not heavily raining, it was kind of in between : different, and that's what made me get out of bed and click.

technically it seems to be an amazing pic. brilliant effort!
but composition wise, i'd prefer some subject to hold the interest!
