m, it's a wooden rod which gonna bring out the sound from the iron bell..

m, therilaiye, it's a narrow corridor that you cant avoid it. i am already on 18 mm and if you want the whole bell this was the only angle and we couldn't avoid that rope, moreover i thought the rope would add to the pic.
