For everything in this world, there is a start point. By the way here it is for me to a new world of light. Thanks to 'Johann Zahn' who seeded for this world long ago in 1685. I am a recreational amateur trying to grasp the concepts behind lenses, Excuse me !!

As Srikanth says, secret question ain't it.

I have heard a lot of people ask photographers as to what camera they use. Camera does play a major role & is also a deciding factor as to how beautiful the picture turns out to be.

But even an Amateur, who has an "eye" for things, captures best moments. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You post process the picture using softwares and the camera loses some of its value. But the picture comes out well.

Very True.. It's not the camera, but who's behind the camera

But personally i feel expensive lens give better colors and contrast as i did comparision test between inexpensive and expensive "L" lenses.
Thats y pro photographers go for "L" Lens...
